Re: EZGO differential
My buddy (a retired boat prop bulider) laughed at me when i asked him to tig one of those dana housings (a broken-off ear for a shift cable on a gas dana axle). He said the cast metal just "blows away" when trying to weld it. But back to the spacer thing, forget the "penny tricks", just get the real bumper (only ONE). When installing the motor, the gap left when tightening the motor to the axle should be very slim. I guess we all can see what happens when too much force is put on the input shaft, i bet the motor armature bearing aint too happy now either.
