starter
I have a 2006 precedent and it hesitates when starting. Changed belts, nothing. Someone told me the starter. Changed that but they keep burning out. Gone through 3. Help!!!

Re: starter
this may sound crazy, but when my valves were out of adjustment on my DS, it was considerably harder to crank over, resulting in slow starting. When I adjusted the valves, it must have provided a little bit of overlap at TDC, because it cranks much easier now. And on the upside, there is less about noise now that they clearances are tighter.

Re: starter
Do you have a lawn mower battery on the cart? There hard on starters.
