Re: Micro switch wiring help
A pic from a little further back? Where does the other small solenoid wire go?

Re: Micro switch wiring help
The green one is going to one of the FnR micro switches - the black one is going to the wiper micro switch - I just don't know where the other wire is suppose to go and there is nothing dangling...

Re: Micro switch wiring help
If not power on any of it ... it might go to a source like key switch or F&R micro - that's just a general rule

Re: Micro switch wiring help
The missing wire attaches to B+. Either at the battery side large terminal on solenoid, or the C terminal on the F/R.

Re: Micro switch wiring help
Every switch needs a feed and a destination....The micro switch has one wire on it... where does it go? May help us understand what's missing.
The diagram ( from that era) are pretty vague... not much help in some areas but every switch needs power. PS Zoom in pics are not as much help as overall pics. We have all seen a micro switch, what we haven't seen is where your wires lead |

Re: Micro switch wiring help
Quote:
There's one black wire coming off the wiper board MS going to the Solenoid. But that one on the right in my pic has the connection but there's no wire dangling loose anywhwere to indicate a lost connection. That's where I am stumped. Has 6 new batteries, lights and reverse beeper work but the solenoid won't "click" so there's no movement in the cart to forward or reverse. I'm thinking the connections on the MS is missing the wire to the + battery terminal, or the key switch... |
