Default EZGO TXT Intermittent running

1996 EZGO TXT runs for a while then it just quits out of nowhere. It's done this a couple of times. I have an Alltrax AXE controller on it and now it gives me 4 green blinks and then continued red blinks. I read that that means that there is something up with the throttle sensor or the cables to the throttle sensor but I havnt had any luck. The solenoid clicks as it should.

Unplug and replug the Molex connector, located between the controller and the FNR. If that fixes it, either spray contact cleaner and repeatedly unplug/replug, or do like I finally did, and hard wire it.

FWIW, this 4 wire connector does 2 things; throttle ITS, and throttle MS. It can be traced by following the cable from the throttle box to the wiring harness.

I have already hard wired the molex connector. Two of the ports were burnt up. I did this the first time and it ran. Now it's not running again. Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure where to go next.

I'm half asleep, but if you have a DMM (digital multi-meter) check the wires from the throttle ITS and MS.

You'll have to remove the floor mat to get there, but given the age, the MS or ITS connectors may be corroded.
