Plowmans Posi in 94 Ezgo Marathon?
Hey guys. I want to put a plowmans posi in my Marathon. I know I have to swap out some parts but I'm not exactly sure which ones. Is it the differential assembly or the ring gear from a 99 or newer axle? Or both? Could I just buy a set of new low speed gears and use that instead? Thanks for your help.

I would suggest calling Don Plowman. He's the guy who invented his posi and he will answer all of your questions. I've talked to him. Really nice guy. When I return home from my trip out west he is getting my EZ-GO TXT gears to install his posi.

I spoke to Don this week and he said he doesn't know jack about Ezgos. He said he knows about Yamahas. I think I found an old thread with the answer. I just have to find the parts. Thank you.

That's odd, he just machined my EZGO spider gears and installed the posi a few months ago. Maybe he just doesn't know the specifics of your question, but he certainly can work on the gears when they are in hand.

He said he couldn't remember the exact ezgos that it would work on and referred me to the website.
