Yep went exactly as planned. Armature was stuck to input shaft. Why do people not use anti seize?
Any how brushes look a little short, but all were hanging out when I got the case off so I don’t think they were hanging up. Couldn’t find my test mcor so I guess I will get a new set of brushes and keep looking. |

OK so I changed the solenoid and installed the resistor and diode simply because I could and wanted everything right. No change....
Got my motor brushes too and installed them after dressing the armature a little. Sure wish there was someone here that still turned them but I think all the DC motor companies in Jacksonville have closed. Any how dressed armature, new brushes and some anti seize. Everything is good the stutter is gone!!!!  |

Scottyb. This cart had a mcor the first time I worked on it a couple of years ago when my customer still owned it. I thought it was out of place too but just went with it. Now that I have bought the cart to resell I have noticed several weird things and fixed them. I think it was put together from spare parts back on the day and sold????
