ezgo gas serial#/year ???????
Just purchased a gas ezgo cart. The seller could not tell me what year it was. I purchased it very cheap. Best he could tell me was it was a 95+. I bought with the intention to fix up or use as parts for my other cart. All serial tags are missing, didnt see any imprints on frame,etc... The rear body is off. Is There another way to get the year of the cart or another location im missing for serial

There should be a tag on the cam belt cover that will have a year on it if it's still there if it's original motor that will get you within the year post some pics

Thanks, But the only tag on the cover is engine tag for engine model and model family. But i did take pics
|

This tag should have some year on it usually for emissions bs and it's a pre mci so it won't be any newer than a 03

Seems about right someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think much at all changed on them during those years

Can't tell if its a Medalist or TXT though... Medalists were made from 1994-1995... TXT's are made from 1996-present. The only difference is the Medalist's had a black plastic bumper cover on the front. Yours doesn't seem to have that so I would guess its a 1996 TXT. Either way all the (Body) parts on the Medalists and up to the present TXT's are compatible. The new Ez-Go RXV's are different though.

Never had a body off a txt but my workhorse is stamped on top the frame over the right rear wheel.
