Default HD rear spring upgrade issues

I have a couple of issues with my '91 Club Car DS. I purchased a set of heavy duty rear springs from Golf Car King on Amazon in anticipation of a rear seat kit and extra passengers. They are three leaf springs. I installed the springs and I have a couple of issues.

First, the shocks appear to be a little on the short side now. Granted, this is it on jack stands with the suspension at full sag. Is it common to have to use longer shocks or extensions or will the suspension compress enough while on the ground?

Secondly, the link under the axle that connects to a crossmember (keeps the axle from rotating) is now too short. Is it common to have to fab a longer link?

I appreciate any help you guys can give. Thanks!

Cuburja, I have a 91 gas DS and when I added the heavy duty leaf spring I disconnected the shock, installed the springs, than had a couple people sit on the back seat to reconnect the shock. Now I thought it road way to rough, even with 2 heavy adults on the back seat so I ended up taking out one leaf, but I had the 4 leaf springs. I can't picture what link you are talking about, is yours gas or electric?

You probably don’t need them because they don’t move. HD are like no suspension, pretty stiff.
