Do what your budget can afford, I purchased and installed all of my components as I bought them then bought batteries.

I have seen too many "full upgrade" jobs go sour because the battery pack was a pile of "almost worn out" batteries before the upgrade. the new system exposed just how bad the old batteries were. If they sucked with the stock system, they are really gonna hate this new upgrade. And the performance will be very lackluster.
