Default Ezgo Txt 48v won’t go

So, we had a graduation party yesterday and there were a bunch of kids cruising around on my cart. This morning I went to move it back into the garage and no go. Batteries are at 50.3v but when I press the gas there is no “click” or light from the alltrax controller. This entire cart was reworked last year. New Batteries, controller, FR switch, solenoid, 2g cables. I’ll have to get it in the garage later and start looking at things after the party cleanup. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You mentioned replacing the FR switch and that waves a red flag at me since the FR switch is rarely needs replacing in a TXT 48V.

Do you actually have a TXT-48V or do you have a Pre-2010 TXT with a series drive whose 36V battery pack has been upgraded to 48V. (What model controller do you have?)

If you have an Alltrax XCT or SR, connect a laptop to it, which will power it up via the USB and and it might blink an error code, or you might see what voltage is missing on the Toolkit monitor page.

Mine is a 2001 Ezgo txt, It was a 36v and I bought the alltrax SR48500 Controller hunting buddy package from ScottyB and installed 6-8v Trojan batteries. I did everything myself last year and it’s been great.

First thing I would check is the throttle pedal microswitch in the throttle box under the floor mat. Kids are known to stomp the go pedal hard, repeatedly, trying to get more performance. LOL

This can bend the lever on the microswitch.

Here is a schematic of a SR in a series drive cart with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.

Start by checking pack voltage voltage coming out on the small wire from the charge receptacle (or from the Reed Switch bypass), then at MS-2 (On F/R switch assembly), then at keyswitch, then pedal switch and then at solenoid coil.

Or you can start at the pedal switch and work back towards the reed switch.

Teens have also been know to break almost everything they get within 50 yards of.

Absolutely! It's a part of their genetic code that drives them to get it out of their systems while they're still too young to shoot for wrecking everything around them.

If you had power washed the battery compartment yesterday before the party it may not have been operational. Today when it dried out it would be good to go....maybe.

Ignition switch works, reed switch appears fine, power to and from micro switch when it activates. 50.4v at the charging port. What are the other 2 wires inside the throttle box with the micro switch? I have no power at either of those.
