2008 EZGO TXT 36V Battery Meter Incorrect
Did not have a battery meter on my cart until I installed a couple of weeks ago. The day after installation I rode over 36 holes with two passengers. The meter took all day for it to move at all and at the end of the day the cart was going dead and I barely made it home and the meter only dropped 2 notches out of 10, (80%). I have tested all battery's manually so I know there are no battery issues. Why is this meter not reading correctly?

Bar graph meters are notoriously known for incorrect readings. They reset to full when charging and don't care if the cart is fully charged or not.
You need a digital meter that will tell you the exact pack voltage. Only then will you know what your actual voltage is, and can resolve any other problems that you may have. There are very many knowledgeable and helpful folks on this site, along with loads of info in the stickies area.  |
