36-48 Volt Upgrade
Just got everything installed and wired up last night. SR48500, 400 amp solenoid, sw202 F & R, 2ga cables. 6 new Trojan t-875`s. A big thanks to Scotty for everything. Read through his instructions a few times, replaced all the old wiring, followed the wiring diagram, hooked up the batteries and bam! No issues, away it went! Gotta be honest, a little scary fast the first test run! Tonight, I will finish putting everything back together, and look into slowing the reverse speed down...Thanks also to everybody here for answers to any questions along the way!

Cvingr,
I just got my hands on an 02 TXT cart and am building it nearly identical to yours but haven't been able to get in touch with Scotty to order everything. Did you order it off his website? I tried to contact him because a few things on there appear to be out of stock. |

Re: 36-48 Volt Upgrade
cvingr, congratulations on a great upgrade and install. The controller should be reducing reverse speed by 50% by way of the orange wire in J1 blue. you can turn it down a bit more if needed using the free TOOLKIT software at alltraxinc.com

Re: 36-48 Volt Upgrade
ok, thanks again Scotty, it just seems crazy fast in reverse...having the wires from the f & r switch to the sw202 backwards wouldn`t change anything would it? And, yes I have downloaded the software and will check it out tonight.
