Re: Navitas 600A Controller on 2018 RXV 48v - What should I expect?

Oh no dowt!! On a hill he’s toast. We street race down a long strip of road in our community where there are no homes on ‘occasion’. And I misspoke he just sent me his stats. 37.8 mph on 23” tires, alltrax 400a controller and the admiral speed motor (that he blew up!) lol Anyhow, I’ve got all the faith in Bob...thanks fellas for all the info!! |

Re: Navitas 600A Controller on 2018 RXV 48v - What should I expect?
All of this speed talk has me anxious to try out my Bandolero project car. I have to finish it first. I'm putting the 2Five axle under it with 23" tires and a reprogrammed 350 Amp Curtis controller driving an 8.8 HP 2+2 Shuttle AC motor. Twice the continuous HP rating of an RXV motor. Powered by a 200 A/H 67 Volt lithium pack. It should be able to exceed 45 MPH with that combination...

The cost of that axle and all other parts is pretty steep...looks like it's time to go wreck diving!

I bought a used 2Five to get the rear axle for my project. My reasoning was not for the gears so much as for the disc brakes it has. I will have to transplant limited slip into that axle. I'll put an RXV axle into the 2Five because I'm not looking for speeds over 25 MPH in the 2Five when I rebuild it. |

Avoid the 4x 12v. Go lithium, or get the factory 6x 8v setup.
