Default install new front leaf spring

Hi all.
Looking for any help/advice on removing old front leaf spring and installing new spring. the new one is just replacing the tired old one, not a heavy duty.

I had issues replacing the rear leafs and without the help from this forum would still be figuring that one out.

Any adviae would be helpful before I remove the origianl one. Do I need to remove most of the steering components to install the new spring etc. Any help is appreciated

I've had my front end torn down several times over the past few weeks. It's pretty straightforward, just remove the front bumper/headlight, 4 bolts for the center plate and then a bolt on each end of the spring. As long as you don't mess with the steering components the only alignment issue should be ensuring that the spring is centered to adjust the camber on your front wheels.

If you need any front end parts David Hicks at Revolution Carts (site sponsor) has takeoff parts from brand new carts that he has installed lift kits on that he sells at a very reasonable price. Instead of just bushings I ended up ordering 2 each of spindles, clevis' and control arms for only $100...(tie rod ends and hubs are extra) I bolted in the new assemblies and all my problems dissapeared!
