Default How to repair plastic crack?

I have a couple of cracks in my body plastic. How is the best way to repair it? Hot glue melt, body putty, JB plastic weld? etc.?

This is the method that I have used before, it worked out pretty good.

I have always used fiberglass fabric and resin on the back side of the wound and good ol' Bondo on the front (if needed) once the back was cured. A lot of times, the break is clean enough that only the back side work is needed.

that would probably be a very expensive repair if you didn't have the equipment in house

i'd steer the guy towards Lochlin's method, grind out the top and using material on both sides, then filler
by only doing 1 side the crack could reopen

an alternative is just to use a long fiber filler on both sides
a quart on amazon is $24
a quart would fix many cracks
