First, it's from the empire of evil.
Second, it's the worst way to get more speed (but it IS cheaper than doing it the right way).
I say it's the worst way because it really abuses the stock motor & controller, shortening their life, and it may actually LOSE speed on hills compared to stock gears due to the torque trade-off.

The right way is to do a motor & (usually) a controller swap.

In a RXV electric, its borderline dangerous, because the motor is your brakes, and you have then reduced the motors mechanical advantage to the wheel.

Empire of evil? why?( I'm relativity new here) I have a new motor(Series) on the way from plum quick, already did the controller, solenoid, fnr..and the cables
Not going off road.. just a neighborhood cruiser....
still not recommended ?
