Yamaha drive 2 quietech vs Ezgo RXV
Looking at a newer cart - had an older gas club car but sold it. Lots of hills in my area and will drive the cart pretty often for distances of 10 miles or more in a day. Narrowed it down to the above carts. Just trying to get some insight as to what everyone thinks would work best. Like to go upper 20’s for speed and have read about Bob and his RXV programming. Didn’t find much on the Drive 2 speed increases. Thanks.

Plowmanscarts.com
Don can get you a ton of torque for the hills and probably get your speed into the 30+ mph range |

I cannot speak for the ezgo. But from my experience, you cannot go wrong with a Yamaha cart. Even more so with plowmans performance upgrades. So if it were me, it would be a Yamaha

Re: Yamaha drive 2 quietech vs Ezgo RXV
I recently purchased a 2019 Drive2 and am very happy with it. I just finished with Plowmans performance kit and larger TBI. WOW!! Cart was impressive stock but is a whole new animal now. Took it for a ride today in 35 degree weather, hit 31.3 mph, Don said that number with go up 2-3 mph when weather gets warmer and belt breaks in. The acceleration is crazy for a cart. I climbed a few dirt hills and it now spins the tires.
Beside the performance after the kit the cart was already awesome. Tons of leg room, great dash, 4 wheel independent suspension, very quiet. The cart is extremely well built and looks good too. |

I have a 17 drive 2 efi with 23” tires. Engine is stock, I usually hit 25 mph but per phone gps, hit 29mph. With tall tires it takes off slow, but this thing is so quiet, everyone thinks it’s battery powered.

Re: Yamaha drive 2 quietech vs Ezgo RXV
I sold my 2016 RXV 6 weeks ago and bought a 2020 Drive 2 PTV and we absolutely love the Yamaha. I'll be doing the Plowman's upgrades soon.
