Default New controller questions 48v TXT

Hello experts, I have been reading threads all night and seem to get more confused. I have a fleet model 2016 EZGO TXT48, When i got it it would go 15 mph tops. So far i have added a rear seat, Heavy duty rear leafs, 6 inch lift, and 22 inch tires on 12 inch wheels. With the larger tires i am now going 18-19 mph. I have lost torque up hills of course. SO i want to get a new controller to regain lost torque and hopefully add some mph, maybe 22-25? Alltrax, Navitas are those my only options? I read that a stock curtis controller puts out more amps than a 600 Navitas but i think that was referring to the RXV and all kinds of other things I just want to know the best route to achieve my goals without buying junk i will regret. I will do the 2 gauge cable upgrade at the same time as the new controller and solenoid if that also needs to be done.. Any solid simple advice would be much appreciated... Pic of Cart because everyone likes pics!

Default Re: New controller questions 48v TXT

Id go with a Alltrax controller from ScottyB cartsunlimited.net. i have the same cart set up the same way and went with the 500a and 400a sol combo. I now get speeds of around 25 and tons of torque! You can obviously go with a smaller amp controller but if you ever plan on a motor upgrade id just stay with the 500 and dont look back!
