If You do have 5v, check the purple wire on the VGlide connector to make sure 5v is getting there, You can disconnect the VGlide connector to check the purple wire for voltage there.

Edit:
You can start by checking the purple wire directly at the VGlide first as it is easier.
Sorry for the delay, went camping with the family for a few days.

Tested today, and my autoranging multimeter -at the purple wire connection near vglide- climbs up to about 400mv then clicks over to OL and restarts the climb...

Check Pin #9 (Purple wire) at the controller. Verify it is supplying the 5v.

Seems I am getting the same reading there...300-350mv then switching to OL on the multimeter.

Does this mean controller? This particular controller worked last year in my other cart..

Is Your multi-meter auto-ranging?

The 0L reading should not show on DC Volts setting unless the voltage you are reading is exceeding the current scale.

Make sure the meter is set to DC Volts.

Measure the pack voltage to make sure the meter is fine.

Make sure the meter negative probe is on the pack negative battery post.

yeah, it won't do anything but autorange? Pack voltage is good and solid reading. Was using the black on the neg. pack.
I was under the impression that OL..meant "open loop" which implied there was no voltage to measure?
