Speed loss
New member. First post. I’m having speed issues.
Cart: 01 Club Car DS 48 volts Regen Batteries: 52v full charge, 51.4v load tested. Batt Less than a month old. Heavy duty cables. Motor: 400 amp D&D motor Controller: 400 amp Alltrax, HD solenoid. Upgraded Charger: Summit II onboard. Bypassed OBC All was working great. Running 23 mph. All the sudden tops out at 16. Any ideas? I’m stuck. Thanks!! Matt |

Re: Speed loss
I think you lost the speed sensor in the motor Matt. Manually push the cart and see if you hear the roll-away buzzer sounding and feel resistance against the cart.

Re: Speed loss
Thanks! You were right. It was the speed sensor. Hooked up the Alltrax app and disabled the speed sensor. Runs great!

Re: Speed loss
You need to replace it as without it you have no rpm control....
