97 club carb solenoid wiring
recently purchased a 1997 48v regen 2 (I think) Club Car 500amp FSIP controller. Bought it as a project with a burnt wire from key switch to solenoid.. Got the controller remanned since it was fried., replaced wire and Trying to get this thing moving down the road. Can anyone help me out with the wiring? I’ll attach a few pics with what I’ve got going on so far. It’s a mess and just working with what I’ve got so bare with me. Any help is appreciated.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Thanks! I actually have that but it seems what I have going on in my cart in slightly different. The solenoid on the passenger side clicks and go to 48v on the large terminals when I turn the key on. The other solenoid only shows about 20v. Nothing happening when depressing pedal. The motor terminals have 48v going to them when I turn the key in also

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Does the cart move at all? Does the driver's side solenoid still have the coil on it?

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
The cart does not move at all and there is no coil.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Put both large cables on one of the large posts of that (driver's side) solenoid and see what happens.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Make sure the rear wheels are jacked off the ground when doing anything like this.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Like this? Jacked the wheels up and put both on one terminal. Nothing happened. Also The passenger solenoid does not click like before when hooked up like.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Look at the diagram Nole supplied above. Make sure your wiring matches it. The cart will not move until the passenger side solenoid activates.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
You have probably pulled something loose. Putting the 2 white cables together on the other solenoid should not affect the activation of the passenger side solenoid.
