97 CC DS What is this?
Upgrading my old CC (2 ga. cables,Alltrax 48500, 400 A. solenoid, RC and D&D 4 2A). I bypassed my computer a long time ago and have clipped yellow wire from OBC and routed as per Sergio's instructions. Here's my questions.
Can I remove the OBC? What is the contraption in the attached picture? It's located drivers side frame and was connected to B- on old controller. The other end was connected to a common grounding block on front wall of rear body. (I've got the body off). I'm hoping I can get rid of it too. Anyways, Thanks in advance for your help. I've been a lurker here for yrs and yrs. I currently have 4 carts. 2 gassers and 2 elec. I hope I did all this right. |

Yes you can remove the obc...That is a factory 16 to 12v reducer..Get rid of it and install a 48 to 12v reducer..This is how the 16 to 12v is wired
