As long as the wires are on the correct posts the side doesn’t matter. If buzzer is sounding in F and R controller may have bit the dust

The reverse beeper is powered all the time but is only supposed to be grounded and activated by pin 3 of the controller whenever power is supplied to pin 4 on the orange wire from F/R switch. Are the micro-switches functioning properly ? If so, then it sounds like a controller issue.
