lower your cradle below where the snubber hits. cut a piece of aluminum flat stock and bend it into a U shape |____| and bolt it to the piece that sticks out where the old snubber was located on the cradle with a 3/8" bolt.
put the snubber on your new piece and slide the motor back up where it belongs. I may have a picture somewhere but thats what I did when I had a cradle that was welded. its simple and you literally only need a drill/bits and tools to undo your cradle from the axle etc. (plus a couple jack stands and floor jack to support the cradle) I dont remember how long it needed to be but I think I added maybe 3" and it seemed fine? I was just kinda guessing by where i thought the cradle looked like it was sitting level and measured from there |
