transmission or adjustment
i have a 2005 gas ezgo , sometimes when i put in reverse it won"t go, if i go forward a bit it will go, is this common or is it a warning sign something about to break, thanks..

Your shifter cable is out of adjustment OR it is damaged and not moving freely. Look for damage / pinching / sheathing missing. If all is good, then you can adjust at the F/R lever. Your 2005 vehicle should have the single cable F/R?
