I think that before investing any money I would just check the compression first. There are many things that would give the impression of a worn motor such as a clogged muffler, worn crankshaft seals, damaged diaphragm et.al.

If you are certain that the bore is worn then my personal preference is to buy the kit just so you get all the gaskets in one purchase. The best price I found was here.

The kit does not include the crankshaft seals and I earnestly recommend that you replace them whilst the engine is out. At $3 each they add nothing to your overall costs.

It is the engine she has 90lbs of compression left . It has a new head gasket on it so I know it is not that and I checked the crank seals on it too so it is just time to rebuild

Order an upper end kit, take your time and make sure to note the orientation of the piston to the intake port on the jug and you will have a fine running 2pg. Enjoy
