Default corroded battery box

Does anyone, sponser preferred, make a drop in, bolt up battery box replacement? The box on this new to me TXT is GONE, and need to fix it. A link to any info would be great, thanks

Yes they do make a replacement battery box... but get it local as shipping will not be cheap.

Thanks rxp, as luck would have it, that place that sells these is less than 20 milrs from my house, but man...$114? I can get galvanized angle from work and a welder here told me he'd weld it up for me for a case of beer if I fit it. Probably just do that, I can buy lots of beer for $114. Hey rxp, I finally got a use for the shifter handle you gave me, check out my thread in elec ezgo...."my next victim". And I hope you finally got your medical problems whipped my friend. Been thinking about ya.

Yep, I agree the ebay aluminum replacement is the way to go. I have also installed one of these racks after I got my 98 DCS running. I had a battery try to escape out the bottom! There was not much left of the old rack. I was able to install the new one without removing the body as stated in the instructions. I just had to cut the old rack off with a cut-off wheel at the front where the rack meets the body support frame and the new one bolted right in.
