Windshield to repair or replace
I have a 2006 CCP and the windshield is cloudy/white film on it with a small crack at the bottom mounting hole about 2 inchs long. I bought some plastic head light cleaner that might clean it up a bit. I can use a small drill bit and drill out at the end of the crack and stop it from growing.
The other problem is where the clips attach the windshield at the top near the split at the hinge are split and almost broken off. I have tried to find just those mounting clips but no luck. Are the folding windshields on eBay for $100 any good? Does club car make there own or is the one I have most likely aftermarket to. Should I just replace the one I have and not mess with it. Why not just buy one from one of the BGW sponsors. One even has free shipping if you spend $99
 Look around and compare the different models. You may want a tinted one, I like mine. It's tinted and folds down. My only complaint: It's 3/16" and I believe the 1/4" would be more rigid.The sponsors make this site possible  , so why support some other company? |
