2003 elec cc stops beeps then goes again

if its a reagan cart it has 2 soleniods.........do you have a rocker switch for F&R or a lever? rocker is a reagan if so it should be drivers side rear and will have a resistor coil mounted to it......if theres no back seat take the access cover off it should be right there..............................

It has a rocker switch and working on it before this looked up serial # and should be a regan, and found the solenoid you are referring to with resistor, but cannot locate another solenoid. Do you think I should try to reattach neg cable even though it arcs pretty big? Tow/ Run switch is a complete sealed unit including aluminum base for toggle switch

your other soleniod the master should be on pass side mounted on horizontal frame rail.....................i would try 1 more time if it just arcs and you can finish putting it on do so but if it arcs and starts smokin or melting the terminal than back off.....................................

thanks again Shadowman, I unplugged the tow/Run switch which finally killed all power, then connected neg battery cable, then plugged T/R switch back into harness, turned the key on, put in forward and mashed pedal and wheels turned for a couple of seconds in forward but not in reverse. Then checked motor controller and getting no power from MC to the motor. I ordered a rebuilt one from Golframa. Will let you know after I install it. I am still puzzled how MC could cause so many different problems, such as power on with T/R switch set to tow. T/R switch could still be bad

are you certain your batteries are good? remember they can hold voltage and still be bad under load so for the heck of it load test each one....... it only takes one to fudge things up.......................................
