Hotrod: Your original post was only a question about to machine or not machine the driven clutch with no initial indication that you are also having drive "issues". Seeing that your initial question was answered, I think you should start a new thread stating what you have done so far and then list your drive issues for help. This should get more members involved and will give the group more to go on to help to sort it out. - RAY

Some thing I ran into that caused problems with my G1 was some what the same problem with primary clutch I found two thing that helped first was a suggestion from one member was to install a 1/4" PVC spacer in the the primary drive. the second I found by luck this was a strange thing. Under the driver side seat and under the muffler there is a nut and bolt with a small peace of wire connected to the bolt. this alines the primary drive to the secondary drive, the nut was loos. this caused the motor to twist causing some shifting problems and noise from what I thought was the transmission going bad.
