12v portable air compressor with alligator clips
I have a 2000 PDS 36v stock.
...and want to know if I can connect a 12v portable air compressor with alligator clips to my batteries? Is it ok to use it on my cart once in a while or for an emergency side of the road tire repair? Do I need to add 2 more clips and use 2 batteries? |

Re: 12v portable air compressor with alligator clips
For very infrequent use, I'd think you would be OK. Worst case, if the compressor is going to be running for a while, move it from one series pair of batteries to another pair.
Assuming you have six 6 volt batteries, they are all connected in series. You can connect to any series pair of batteries and get 12 volts. Connect black to negative of one battery and red to positive of the next battery in the series pair. |
