Performance Kit, JUMPY START??

I have searched and searched but havent found exactly what the problem is. I have a 05 CC DS gas, I just had the performance clutch spring and belt installed for low end torque. Problem is the engine revs extremely high befor the clutch engages, I have tried to adjust the throttle cable under the cart, the idle and messed with the main throttle cable under the black box. Since i have the key start it idles fine but when I engage the gas it literally revs so high before it catches and jumps makindg a popping sound almost like it peels out. The cart runs fine after its just extremely annoying at the start, is there any other options other that.

Check the operation on jack stands and see if it is the primary sticking open .
