Battery charging issues
I'm working on a 2004 DS 48V with less than 2 year old batteries. The computer was blown so I replaced it.I also load tested batteries with my lester discharge machine and it did over a 60 minute discharge.I then metered each battery and all were with in 5%.The charger will not put in anymore than 58.8 volts.I masured the voltage at the yellow light with my communication device and it reads58.8.I then masured pack voltage with my volt meter and it also reads 58.8.So that rules out a defective new obc.Charger wil not shut off.I also have done the 16 hour time out.I am dealing with decka batteries and in my opinion they are junk but every thing I have done specs out.
Any thoughts on this? Tom |
