The beeper is a very low current device (0.050A or less), so the driver is most likely pretty lightweight and if you take it out, that might take out the entire controller.

I don't know if it will or won't, just suggesting that you check out the specs on the beeper port before connecting something to it that it wasn't designed for.

JohnnieB, I was talking about signaling a relay. Lights would actually draw 12v current supplied by the voltage reducer, run through the relay. Thinking about it, the relay MAY draw more current than LED lights would, though, so thanks for the "heads up"!!

Got buzzer added tonight , went with factory buzzer. Thanks for the help
