this may not work for you but there is a small repair shop in my town and he sales used batteries i got a set (6x6v 2011) for $300 and did not need cores ... so used may be a way to start

btw ... go with the 6x 6v you will be happier

i personally went with number 4. doing an all out upgrade, but i wanted the baddest cart on the course and some mild hunting. or if you dont need it `go straight stock

Its the tires that will determine your next step.

Big tires, 48V electronics and use the 36V motor for now, up grade motor when u can.

Stock tires, 36V and give her a nice camo paint job..

Thats good info, SpringLake, I defiantly have to put bigger tires and a lift on it. Even though the land is 95% flat, there are some trees that I have to go over and some small dry creeks that I will be crossing.

I am by far an expert in this buggy world, only reason I know this part is I am going through it myself. I pulled the trigger on batteries early, hoping to get by with electronics for a while.

You cant beat the system for long

Trees = 4" - 6" fallen trees.....not 12" trees.
