Default rearend/clutch wine

i have a 89 model cart that has been a project for several years and it has started a humming noise in the back of the cart there isnt no kind of knocking noise just a hum that gets loud then less loud consistently while riding only at the higher rpm when just riding slow there is no noise it doesnt jerk are nothing but when riding at the higher rpm you can feel a vibration when the humming starts

Default Re: rearend/clutch wine

Probably your top bearing in the gear box. Mine was really loud, Not too bad to change and I put Lucas oil treatment now so the oil climbs to the top bearing - Nice & quiet now.
