Can I put a fe290 cw in place of a fe350 cw?
I have a 04 carryall 6 with a clockwise fe350 from the factory. My question is I just bought a 98 fe290 clockwise complete with generator, both clutches and exhaust.
Can I bolt this engine in place of the fe350? I think I don't even have to change the driven clutch am I right? Just as long as I have the fe290's exhaust i am good correct? Just want to rebuild the 350 without the cart being down for any time. Thanks for reading! Please reply 😀 |

As long as you use the 290 exhaust, and drive clutch, it'll be a direct bolt in!
(the 350 drive clutch may have a stronger spring, and may bog the 290 down!) |
