Re: 90 club car engine swap
OK, engine ordered now just prepping for it... i also ordered the comet 780 clutch. how do i get the old one off the rear end? i cant find any videos on it and i searched here and from what i gathered is drench it in Pb blaster and maybe get a 3 point pulley puller from harbor freight..... my question is there is a 9/16 bolt i took out. there is also a huge nut like a 2 inch wide.. do i back that off? update... the secondary clutch came off... sweet... Pb blaster and rubber mallet... i feel like today is a good day....

Re: 90 club car engine swap
You got lucky on that secondary clutch on a cart that old! I had to destroy mine to remove it. You better believe I put Nevr-Sieze on the new one.

Re: 90 club car engine swap
put the vegas cart in and it hauls ***.. actually it blew the muffler off. ( maybe i didn't have it bolted all that great) but what happened after i turned the cart off is i couldn't turn it back on... i think the solenoid is messed up.. i hear it clicking but does not engage... i ordered one from amazon. the cart didnt have a microswitch (previous owner took it off) so i bypassed it by with a push button/toggle switch... is there something im missing?
