Mooncarter is correct I'm not seeing any fuel in the clear fuel filter and it is between the petcock and the fuel pump but the filter has easy airflow by blowing through it and the line from the filter to the tank is clear also. That's why I'm leaning fuel pump but I will need to check the line between engine and pump for the oil issue. Thanks.

If the float is stuck closed in the carb you won't have fuel flow hence why there is no fuel in the filter I would start with carb cleaning before purchasing new fuel pump

Ok, let's all get on the same page and help this guy out (and perhaps me too). Look at these photos. 2 are of a Club Car Carb. One is of a Club Car Fuel pump. The man says the pump is not pumping fuel to the carb. What does a needle/seat/float etc. have to do with that?

Whew... let's not get too far ahead of ourselves!

FB11 said that he blew the lines out...
IF... the float/needle is stuck closed, (which won't allow fuel, or air into the bowl)
the lines to the carb will also remain empty until fuel pushes the air into the bowl, and out through the bowl vent!
If the float/needle is stuck closed... none of that will happen!

Cranking the engine with the fuel line disconnected from the carb will bleed the air out of the line,
and he can troubleshoot from there, IF... the fuel pump is pumping fuel!

If the fuel line is not CONNECTED to the carb, as in the tests he has supposedly run, the carb would have NOTHING to do with the functioning of the fuel pump. NOTHING.

I could be wrong, please explain further.

LOL fatboy. You did disconnect the line to the carb as Lockman told you to do and check it that way, right?
