To program new profile:
1) Erase everything from a thumb drive (or format it as FAT32)
2) Download the "Alg71_V1.36.zip" from Delta-Q website (This was your example).
3) Extract the folder named "CHARGER" from the zip file to the root of the thumb drive.
4) Turn the Charger ON but do not plug to cart.
5) Insert the thumb drive in the charge and let it run the update process (green triangle should blink).
6) Once the Green triangle is solid, remove thumb drive from charger.
Edit:

Make sure You are using the correct US Battery Algorithm for your particular model:

So I"ve downloaded profile #71, which appears to be correct for the PD Plus club car batteries that I think are US Battery 8GCxxx.

I've put the "Charger" folder on a blank USB, and let the charger boot up w/out DC connection and then insert the USB.

Green blinks, charger reads drive, writes a folder of info to the USB, but it still says default / selected charge profile is the #31 that was on it from Club Car.

How do I specify which charge profile the charger should use?

Not sure what #31 is, and it might be fine, but #71 seems to be the one I should use.

By the way, I have the Club Car OEM charger (w/out the "wrench" button and numeric display that the Delta branded ones appear to have.).

Thanks

Club Car OEM batteries are manufactured by Johnson controls, not US battery.

This post has more information about the types of profiles, perhaps other members know the PDPlus battery specs.

Make sure the USB drive is definitely formatted as FAT32 (large drives cannot use that format).

You may also want to view hidden files, specially if copied from a MAC, and delete anything other than the CHARGER folder from the root of the drive.

The CHARGER folder would have the FILES and FILTERS folders.

The Club Car OEM version of the IC650, ERIC, does not have the same lights (its a cheaper version) but it is the same charger.

Its fat32, don't have anything made by apple.

I'd read a post here saying the part number for the PD Plus x-ref'd back to a US Battery part # - I'll have to go look for that.

There must be some way to put an entry into a .txt file or something to select default charge profiles, since it doesn't have the button that the Delta does.

Thanks for the link.

This is where I got the idea that the batteries were US Battery:
