Re: Not a good weekend for the cart need help
Ok ordered a speed magnet from Tahoe but in the meantime ran down to local store and picked up a magnet because I'm playing in a tournament this weekend.
Now I have a new problem, here's what's going on. I removed the lower body to clean while she was down removing F/R switch. I removed the motor to get all the little pieces of magnets out. I put in tow mode when unwiring everything. Put new magnet, f/r switch, motor in, and rewired correctly. While putting in got a spark when one of the small wires touched the positive side of motor but nothing major. Got everything in jacked her up and forward worked great problem solved but put in Reverse solenoid click then another click and nothing. pulled the f/r and swapped the forward and reverse wires, sure enough reverse worked no forward that eliminates the wiring so u think some how my switch got screwed up or something else? |

You have the Red wire on the middle terminal of the FNR switch right?
What small wire exactly and what terminal are You calling the positive side of the Motor? |

Re: Not a good weekend for the cart need help
His FNR test results indicate the Controller is fine.
The problem is likely the switch or improper wire placement on the switch terminals. |

Re: Not a good weekend for the cart need help
Yes it's wired correctly and if you switch the outside (F/R) wires it will go in reverse in the forward location so it seems it's a bad switch. I was worried about the controller but like you said seems to be the switch not sure what else it could be.

Re: Not a good weekend for the cart need help
If a F1 or F2 wire hits a A2 or A1 wire many times that wipes out the controller.
