Default 2004 e-z-go txt pds

As of around four this afternoon, I am the proud owner of a 2004 PDS cart. I don't mean to advertise however I got the cart at A-1 Golf Carts in Chandler, AZ. Great service!

I have a question. I am having 2009 Interstate batteries put in. Will this effect the performance of the cart at all? I am eventually planning on Trojans but that is much later. Is the quality of Interstate batteries considerably lower than Trojan? Or am I set to go? Thanks!

I know, I know:

Will upload some soon.

It has been my experiance that the Interstate Battery is equal to, and in the case of the new Black and green 2010 batteries better than , the Trojan T-105 battery. Curious as to why you are having used batteries installed, but I am gonna assume financial reasons prevail there. Just remember that you have no idea how they were cared for prior to your ownership of them.

The new interstates are made by johnson controls down in mexico and interstate is having alot of problems with them. Dont be surprised if you have to use the warranty on those batteries.

I have seen a 1 year old set of interstate batteries not last as long as a 6 year old set of T-605. I was using the EZGO 36V discharge machine

I just hope you are getting them at a good deal.

Regardless of which batteries you have cart performance is related to battery condition.
If you just bought the cart from a dealer who you got "great service" from, why are you changing the batteries?
Why are you installing 1-2 year old batteries?

Thank you for the information. You are correct. The batteries that were originally in it we no good. So I had used batteries put in because I cannot afford another $700 for new batteries.

Can you be specific as to what problems are occurring?

Maybe because the cart originally had bad batteries and I wanted it to run. 1-2 year old batteries are not bad, deep cycle batteries do not even show their full potential until 20-50 charge cycles. I had a set of 04 batteries in my previous cart and they were great.

And if I had the choice and money I would be installing September 2010 Trojan T125 batteries. I don't have either of those. Any more brain busters?
