I used a 5A fuse because that's how its shown in the Alltrax controller diagram. The sealed fuse holder I used had wires long enough to reach between the batt + and F&R switch(10''), I just added an eyelet to one side and a spade terminal to the other. Can these be used as stand alones? Could you take the cable off of the stock charger and wire it to this?

Yes you can, you just need to attach your cart plug to the DC output cord or harness.

Is it that simple, just remove the cable from the old and attach to the new? How do the wires attach to the new charger, screw terminal, wired to a plug? I'm curious how the wires attach to the solid state charger. My cart currently has a 25a, will a 16 just take longer to charge? Am I losing anything?
My original Lestronic quite working yesterday. Turned on for a second then shut down. It buzzed like crazy so it was just a matter of time. Is there a way to test it?

The guys at Lestronic made me a great offer, about 250 shipped for a new US made core and coil. So I'm trying to figure out which way to go.
