Default controller, motor problem

Hello everyone, my cart is in the shop right now and i am having a hard time figuring some problems out. I took it in for a "noise" i thought it was the motor going bad, turns out it was just a bearing. They checked the motor out anyways, and the armature and brushes are shot and wires are melted together. It still ran fine when i took it in. I have a alltrax dcx400 on it, as well as a "higher end" motor im not completly sure of it at the moment. The bigger problem now is that the guy said the controller i have shouldn't even have worked for the motor that is in it because it is a PDS cart, it did work for 2-3 years though.

Big story short, will the Alltrax dcx400 work with a pds cart?

i am sorry if this isn't enough information

in that thread there not refering to the dcx400pds are they? i see alltrax makes a different controller for the pds model, and my controller is the other one.

The DCX PDS controllors just mean they come with the correct harness adapter to plug and play in a EZ Go PDS cart. Thats what the G19 or the IQ means that it comes with the correct harness for those aplications.
