This needs a finger wipe of grease inside the bush and on the Orings.
Reassemble and it should engage smoother.
That sir is great advice

1st, my apologies for the thread hijack, but this is the thread I was using to help me get the clutch apart.

What if the cover is jammed against the frame as my two pics show?

Motor mounts compressed? Or frame bent upward? Or, worst case, PO has made modifications that cause the cover to get stuck on the frame?

Thanks for any assistance ... and again my aplogies to geggle.

Thanks for the reply Charlie.

After freaking out, I went back out to my garage and looked at the geometry again. That's what I get for trying to do too many things at one time.!!

The clutch cleaning should be with the cart sitting on it's wheels. I have mine off, waiting for the new wheel studs and lug nuts. My jack stands are under the rear frame where the bumper attaches, so the gear/frame portion is hanging lower than when the cart is on the ground. I put my floor jack under the crossmember where the struts attach (aatached to the axles), and jacked it up, and viola ... there is plenty of room.

I'm still learning as I go!
