Default Does 48v give speed, torque, or longer running time

just wondering if i convert 94 36v marathon to 48v what i will gain. i have a stock motor and an alltrax 300amp controller it says it works with 48 volt so i think all i need is 2 batteries, also acquired a roll of 2 ga wire what will this do if i change it all i got like 4 or 6 now.

You will also need a 48 volt solenoid. As far as your question, I gained speed, torque, and run time when I converted mine. Don't forget when you convert you will also need a way to charge 48 volts since your old charger was 36.

i didnt think about the charger , i can get a couple of new batteries for around 180 and i have the wire, so i will need a new solenoid and charger, is it really worth it how big were the gains roughly.

I have yet to see a single post from someone who regretted doing the upgrade. I'm just sayin'...

48 volt solenoid

48 charger/ or your 36v charger, and a 12v car charger until you can get a 48v charger

HD F/R switch

your 2ga cables you are going to make

your running this on the 36v motor right?

not sure what the torque would be because, 300anp controller is like stock, but running the 36v motor on 48v will put a smile on your face, you will gain torque and speed, I'll say 20% more
