New to golf carts
I just pucharsed a golf cart , i belive its a 1991.
Could someone tell me what the manufacture number means.. Its f2891.. , it says ez-go extron augusta, ga.. The batteries are in bad condition, corrision on all the terminals.. Il clean all this up and test the batteries.. They are trojan, negitive terminal f 5 , possitive e o . That would be june 2005 may 1st right.. The cart had been siting in a warehouse for the last 3 years , allways covered , hasent been screwed with or butchered. there are a couple of lose wires that wernt connected to anything in the battery comparment.... Welcome to BGW!
If it is a 1991, it is probably a Marathon. It might be a resistor drive, or have an electronic speed controller. Pictures of cart and under the seat would help identify it. At best, the batteries are 7 years old and need to be replaced. If they sat for 3 years and weren't maintained during that time, they are boat anchors. |
