Default G9 clutch spring seat

Will the later spring seat work on the early G9? Next I need a used spring seat for an early G9 that still has a little life in it. I don't have the cash for a new one now. Please PM me if you have a spare!

Thank you very much but I have a good spring. The part I need is the spring seat that has the three plastic ramps on it. The part retails for around $75.00 and I can never get my in-laws to change the ramps until something else breaks or wears out. Then I have to help with the repairs!

Don't have a good one of those. Sorry buddy. Is yours broken? You may can file it down enough to smooth it out and then put in new ramp shoes.

I am going to try to machine 3 plastic dowels to replace the ramps but the spring seat is worn so bad I think it is too far gone to file down. I noticed the later spring seat is probably more durable I would like to know if it will work on the earlier clutch. I hope some day he will maintain his cart a little better or at least less expensive for me!

I would think they are the same or interchangable. Might check here to see if this will give any info: http://yamahagolfcar.com/partsandservice/default.aspx
