1990 EZ GO will only start when being jumped
I have a 1990 ez go 2 cycle that sat in my shed for 5 years, I got it to run but I have to jump it to start it. So I put a new battery in it and it is still doing the same thing. I have replaced the spark plug wire, spark plug, battery, solenoid and fuel pump but it still has the problem. I was thinking the magneto could be dirty. Anyone got any ideas i can try to fix it?
And what is the best fuel to oil ratio? |

Re: 1990 EZ GO will only start when being jumped
Are you jump starting it at the battery posts? If so, then bad connections to battery, bad battery, bad battery ends on battery cables, etc...
Also, this is the Yamaha section instead of Ezgo. |
