Try to get one that will not eat the frame. My cart has some frame rust just under the battery. Sealed battery of some kind comes to mind...

About any car battery that has posts where the cables will fit on them. I used to get the cheapest car battery with posts that way and they worked great. The last one I bought the RV/marine battery was only $6 more so it now has one of those. The bolts on top might come in handy to wire things to. It is a starting battery, 600cca or something. You don't need a deep cycle unless you plan to run it down when it is not running. Check out the cables too mine they are close to the seat frame at front of battery, I route them so they don't rub on the metal.

They do rust the frame from acid overflow and fumes. Good idea to paint the frame there or cover it somehow. I have a can of spray bedliner to put on mine but been working on the engine lately.

Manual says group 24, 12v-48AH
